Lectures and Corporate Work
With a speech radio background and research notes on countless subjects Tessa loves hosting live events and giving lectures. Described as anything from glamorous (Sunday Times) to witty (Radio Times), Tessa’s experience ranges from History Lecture Tours on Cruises, presenting Corporate Videos, hosting Live Events and interviewing guests. Her most recent commitment was as the host for the Who Do You Think You Are? Live at Olympia in May 07 and May 08. Working with Wall to Wall Productions and Brand Events Tessa interviewed a range of guests from Ian Hislop and David Baddiel to Colin Jackson and Natasha Kaplinsky about their Who Do You Think You Are experiences and fielded questions from the audience.
Comments on Tessa’s live performances include ‘Tessa is a brilliant natural lecturer, I first heard her on the ancient Greeks and found her material and style riveting’ (Sandy Gall) and ‘Tessa is one of the most amusing, interesting and spontaneous speakers I have ever heard’ (Colonel John Blashford-Snell OBE, Explorer). Tessa’s favourite subject is the Restoration Period with particular emphasis on Charles II’s Mistresses however she has a wide range of research material and different lecturers.
