Tessa has been presenting speech radio for the last eight years. Her passion for the medium developed during a childhood in the Highlands of Scotland with very poor TV reception. She can currently be heard every Friday presenting a weekly phone-in show on BBC London 94.9FM from 10pm, when she talks films, politics, history and entertainment with a wide range of guests and callers. Tessa’s radio background includes shows on most of the major speech networks; Radio 5, Talk Sport, LBC and BBC London. She has also been a guest on Radio 4’s The Message.

Her speech radio career began on LBC when she worked her way up from the through-the-night show to become one of the station’s most popular presenters in the afternoon. She moved to BBC London 94.9FM in 2003 where she has been ever since.
