Hello, and many thanks for visiting my website. I've been broadcasting on television and radio for almost ten years. Most of the programmes I research and present have an historical element - a particular highlight from this summer was filming for next year's BBC2 Coast.

I read history at Oxford University and am doing Post-Graduate studies in Imperialism and Culture at Sheffield Hallam. I love working out ways of making history accessible, entertaining and relevant. And as I was an undergraduate when degrees were free, it would be churlish not to share what I learnt!

My first book published by Quartet Books is out in May 2012. A memoir, 'To Romania With Love'  is a story about a boy and his country and how they changed the course of my life.

I've written for many of the national newspapers, write and perform my own lectures and have spent far too many hours presenting and contributing on the mayhem that is live radio.

Anyway I hope you find what you're looking for on this website.

All best wishes,

Tessa Dunlop
